This statement is interesting for a number of reasons. For starters, it is dated September 23, 1964, after the Warren Report was issued and the day before it was handed to the president. I think that one of the authors of the Warren Report (Goldberg) - requested the FBI conduct this interview and a few others just to get some facts on the record.
